**1) Cube Root:**

The Cube Root of 19683:

⇒ Here the ones digit is taking 3, so we will see cube of which numbers from 1 to 9 are taking 3 in the ones digit place, which is 7. That is 7 will create the one’s digit of the cube root of 19683.

Now 19 comes between the cube 2 and 3, so the small number between 2 and 3 means 2 will form the tens digit of the cube root.

⇒ Therefore, the cube of 19683 becomes Root 27.

**2) Playing with a percentage**

Technique 1

If 60% of all apples are bad, then 100% – 60% = 40% is good.

So, when you ask us about the number of good apples, just do a mental calculation and get the 40% number, multiplying the total number of apples by 600, i.e. 40 x 600/100 = 240 apples

Technique 2

You already know that in the 00s in 600 and 00s in 100 are canceled, so why waste time writing down the whole number?

Just Multiply 40 x 6 = 240!

**3) Time and work**

Each question in the time and work chapter is easily solved by searching for the worker’s ability or subject.

For example – A takes 10 days to do the job. B takes 20 days to do the same job. If A and B work with each other, then in how many days they will complete the work?

A’s Efficiency per day = 100/10 = 10%

B’s efficiency per day = 100/20 = 5%

A and B can work together for 15% of a day.

So they can do the whole work 100/15 = 6.66 days.
